It’s been kind of a slow week with a few points of frustration. I’ve sent emails out to many people in my network, basically just soliciting advice and any job referrals they have, but no responses have come my way. No response from Rocko yet, either. Aw shucks.
On Wednesday I contacted a headhunter and today received a reply of non-interest. I find it hard to believe that there’s absolutely no market for me, but I guess I don’t fit their standards. I’ve asked the headhunter for specifics on weaknesses I can improve on, so we’ll see what comes back.
Beyond those few things, I’ve been preoccupied with my Obama poster. That might be finished tonight, or tomorrow at the latest. I’m planning on doing the Sarah Palin one next, but I’m going to start working on a few other projects in-between – specifically the Handi Stranded project and a self promotional device I can mail out.
