1. Handi Stranded: Programmer and Models Needed

After a year of sitting on this project, I’m finally ready to proceed with Handi Stranded. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, the project will centre around a website that acts as a public database for complaints against Sudbury Handi Transit, which is my city’s only accessible bus service designed for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. I’m not going to go into a long rant here, but the service is inexcusably poor. The project will ideally be used to place pressure on Handi Transit and the City as it documents, in fine detail, the deficiencies of the service.

I need a few models for a photo shoot sometime next month. No professional experience necessary, but keep in mind that you’ll only be paid in my gratitude and with the knowledge that you’re helping your community.

I’m also looking for a web programmer to help with building the website and the database behind it. Training in CSS/XHTML, XML, and PHP is essential. I might be able to offer financial compensation for your services, but it won’t be market value. Again, consider community building as part of the compensation.
